Lilian Garcia To Sing At NFL Halftime Show

On Sept. 30, SmackDown ring announcer and songstress Lilian Garcia will perform during halftime at Metlife Stadium – the site of WrestleMania XXIX – when the New York Jets battle the San Francisco 49ers.

“When I got the call, I nearly dropped the phone,” Garcia told WWE.com, recalling the good news. She was already scheduled to perform the national anthem — as she has done at Jets games seven times prior — but this marks the first time she will perform at an NFL halftime show.

“The Jets want me to do a seven-minute show with their Flight Crew Cheerleaders, and I’m going to be rehearsing with them next week.”
