AJ To Appear In Scooby-Doo Movie

Scooby Doo is about to meet the Divas division’s own Scrappy Doo!

WWE Diva and Raw General Manager, AJ Lee, will be one of several WWE stars who will lend their voices — and appear in cartoon form — in a new Scooby Doo animated movie co-produced by WWE Studios and Warner Bros, reports Deadline.

The new Scooby Doo movie will center around a mystery involving WrestleMania and feature the voices of AJ, John Cena, Vince McMahon and more.

WWE.com‘s plot summary reads: “When Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WrestleMania, the entire gang travels in the Mystery Machine to WWE City to attend the epic event. However, when a mysterious ghostly bear appears and threatens to ruin the show, Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred work with WWE Superstars to solve the case.”

AJ’s involvement will mark the first time a WWE Diva has been featured in a WWE Studios movie. WWE has been releasing features regularly since 2006, first under the WWE Films banner, and now under WWE Studios. Past pictures have featured the likes of John Cena, Kane, Big Show, Triple H and more.

The movie will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and video on demand.
