SHIMMER Weekend Produces New Champions

New SHIMMER Champion: Saraya Knight

SHIMMER crowned all new champions at the Volume 48 DVD taping. Sara Del Rey and Courtney Rush picked up the SHIMMER Tag Team Championships by defeating previous champions Ayumi Kurihara and Ayako Hamada as well as Regeneration-X and the Canadian Ninjas in a four-way elimination match.

In other championship news, Saraya Knight defeated Cheerleader Melissa to become the new SHIMMER Champion after assaulting Melissa backstage earlier in the evening.

* Regeneration-X is eliminated after Portia pins Leva with a rollup.
